Graduation & Diplomas, & Certificates
The parent-educator is responsible to make sure the student completes all requirements for graduation.
Upon completion of all requirements of Faith Independent Christian Academy, the student will receive a Faith Independent Christian Academy High School Diploma.
Faith Independent Christian Academy offer High School Diploma Options:
1. Faith Independent Christian Academy High School Diploma
Students must meet all of the following requirements:
Student’s final transcript shows that student has met the minimum credit requirements for graduation.
Student has received a score of at least 4 on the 11th or 12th grade Stanford Achievement Test, or taken the ACT and has attended dual enrollment at a college or career training program, or plans on attending college, student must produce a letter of acceptance from a college or career training program. OR have taken ACT and submits student portfolio.
2. Faith Independent Christian Academy High School Diploma (Parent-Directed)
Student’s final transcript is submitted & records are up to date & all required Faith Independent forms are completed and fees are paid for graduation and has either not taken a standardized test, or ACT Test.
or
Student is considered a Special Education Student & it has been determined student is unable to fulfill all requirements of a Faith Independent Christian Academy High School Diploma.
3. Early Graduation
11th & 12th Grade Students: to graduate early, student’s final transcript must show that the student has completed all requirements for the Faith Independent Christian Academy High School Diploma or Faith Independent Christian Academy Parent-Directed Diploma

Graduation Plans: We offer a phenomenal Graduation Ceremony, our graduation ceremonies are held in churches, theaters, recreation centers, etc.

For Faith Independent Christian Academy to issue your student’s diploma, student’s file must contain the following:
1. Required courses and credits.
2. Required documentation such as birth certificate, immunization records or exemption, Attendance & Progress Reports , Curriculum List form, Achievement test taken, including any ACT & SAT’s for college and Diploma Request & or a College Acceptance Letter, Senior Consultation Form of Attendance. OR FICA Parent Directed Requirements
The Attendance and Progress report are required to be submitted twice annually, however, seniors need to submit the form by May 15th or the last day of their school year to give Faith Independent Christian Academy time to review & consult with the parent-student about the final transcript.
Allow up to 2 weeks for processing High School Diploma Request.
Diplomas are issued at Ceremonies, May 23rd, . All are printed by computer in bulk, therefore request for diplomas at another date will incur a cost of $20.00 fee. However, if you are attending the graduation ceremony on May 23rd all required documentation & graduation fees must be submitted no later than May 1st. Cap & Gowns will be mailed to the address we have on file for the parent-student prior to graduation. It is the parent responsibility to make sure FICA has the correct address & contact information on file.
College Plans
Attending College is an exciting career goal, take a campus tour and speak with the college admissions office for your acceptance requirements and academic majors offered.
Faith Independent Christian Academy will write a Letter of Recommendation, and forward your transcript to the college of your choosing. A Request & Authorization Form must be completed. The processing fee is $30.00 Dollars. Please keep in mind most colleges require testing scores of Sat or Act.

Faith Independent Christian Academy Loves being apart of your child's educational success as God Loves us. This is why we offer ceremonies of award to K-12th graders. These ceremonies are offered every year of your child's grade level to commend them on their hard work in completing grade levels. A copy of your students test scores must be submitted to Faith Independent Christian Academy every 3 years if student is participating in our awards ceremony other wise parents may keep testing records in their files and submit 11th or 12th grade SAT or ACT for graduation.
