Enrollment in Faith  Independent Christian Academy is open to all families who are dedicated to following the nature of the Bible and God.  Agree with our Statement of Faith and Academy Policies.

Faith Independent Christian Academy offers enrollment to home-based-educating families throughout the United States.  Homeschooling laws  are different from state to state.  It is the responsibility of parent-educators deciding to enroll their students in Faith Independent Christian Academy to become educated about the Homeschool laws in their state of residence in which they are governed.  Faith Independent Christian Academy is established to enroll students, offer curricular , books, homeschool support, tutoring & educational  classes, fine arts classes, social gatherings and personalized diplomas,  FICA or personalized certificates, and ceremonies, etc...

Policy is enforced once FICA becomes a church related school

However, if you are only a member of the home school coop and support group follow that policy.
Church  Related School Policy
Faith Independent Christian  Academy program is open year round, with enrollment beginning on July 1st and ending on June 30th. Enrollment into Faith Independent Christian Academy  starts  the day we receive the student’s application , member enrollment fees, and  it expires on June 30th.  Per Faith Independent Christian Academy member enrollment policy, Families are required to enroll their student-child into our Faith Independent Christian Academy each year by July 1st.  Failure to enroll will result in Faith Independent Christian Academy not maintaining your student-child academic records with Faith Independent Christian Academy; beyond dates of previous end date of enrollment.  Parent-Educators & Umbrellas will be required for all record keeping. attendance & progress of your homeschooled student as a COOP Member. Church Related School of Faith Independent Christian Academy maintains records of transcripts, immunization records, curricular, attendance, & notify the local superintendent & department of transportation of your child's enrollment in a church related school. We are in  the process  of becoming a churchrelated school, we are currently a homeschool coop and support group. If you do not become apart of our school & have opted to do a declaration of intent not affiliated with FICA umbrella school or another church related school you may still become a coop member or participate in our gatherings, ceremonies, & events as a non member upon paying fees.  Subject to all requirements as mandated by Homeschool laws in their state  of residence in which parent-educators are governed.

It is the responsibility of the parent-educator of minors or adult student at least 18 years of age to report to Faith Independent Christian Academy any legal issues or issues  the student-child has encountered with authorities  or previous school, such as  suspensions, expulsions, disciplinary actions, etc.)  Withholding information concerning the student/ parent-educator to disclose this information to Faith Independent Christian Academy will result in the dismissal of enrollment and  loss of any fees paid to Faith Independent Christian Academy.

Faith Independent Christian Academy works with students all over the united states in accordance with home school laws which are governed by the parent educator-students  state of residence.

 As Christians following biblical teachings, Faith Independent Christian Academy believes all students should have a equal chance to obtain a quality education.

New Enrollment 

A student is considered enrolled at Faith Independent Christian Academy when all forms are completed and fees are paid required by Faith Independent Christian Academy. Please understand a student is not considered enrolled if all requirements of Faith Independent Christian Academy has not been satisfied. Faith Independent Christian Academy does not give refunds on any of any kind on services, merchandise, or items offered and sold. This is why it is the parent-educator or adult student to make sure all requirements are satisfied and a you understand the service you are requesting. Faith Independent Christian Academy will be happy to consult with you about our services offered.  Review our website as it may be helpful to the parent-educator and or the student

 


Please Note: Prior School of attendance for student will not honor Faith Independent Christian Academy school record request if parent/student owes a balance  to the prior school attended, it is the responsibility of the parent-educator to resolve any issues and or obligations with the prior school attended.

 

 

Document Request

Faith Independent Christian Academy will request a students prior records from prior school attended upon enrollment into Faith Independent Christian Academy.  It is the parent-educator responsibility to notify the prior school attended, withdrawl from the prior school attended, and contact the Department of Education in the county of state in which parent-educator/student reside, to let the proper school officials know the where abouts of the student-child. However upon enrollment into Faith Independent Christian Academy we will mantain student records for parent-educators of Faith Independent Christian Academy.

If a student is transferring from another school into Faith Independent Christian Academy, the prior school student attended should have all the documents Faith Independent Christian Academy is requesting. If the last  school of record does not transfer these documents requested or incomplete, we require that the parent-educator provide this information  and we will place the parent-educator reporting in our files. If the  prior school was a public school, umbrella/private school we are not required to list the record of the last school attended academic records if not submitted to Faith Independent Christian Academy. We believe the parent-educator can acknowledge with required state law in which they are goverened to keep accurate records, therefor we will place on our file the parent-educator reporting of courses, grading, and or credits earned for the student, if last school attended records are not submitted to Faith Independent Christian Academy. We do not utilize prior umbrella or private school records if that school is the last school the child attended. For accuracy we require the parent-educator to submit grading, credits earned, attendance & progress reports , enrollment forms, and fees for the  school year in which the  parent-educator wish Faith Independent Christian Academy to keep record of Homeschooling courses and curriculum taken.  Parent-Educator may opt for additional enrollment fees to utilize their parent-educator report when homeschooling as required.   The documents needed include: birth certificate, school medical exam form, and immunization form or letter explaining religious exemption from immunization. 

Faith Independent Christian Academy assumes that all forms completed by parent-educator or adult student submitted is accurate and the parent-educator/student/adult student is not under investigation by any legal authority. Enrollment is conditional, pending all documents are accurate and that the information proves to be accurate. Providing false information will  result in you  and or  your student to be expelled and all fees paid will be forfeited! 

Return your Curriculum List Faith Independent Christian Academy form within 30 days of enrollment.  Faith Independent Christian Academy can help you decide on a curricula according to your needs and offer curriculum for a fee or included in membership package.

Return semi-annual Faith Independent Christian Academy Attendance and Progress reports by following due dates: First semester report due by January 10th. Second semester report due by July 10th on Faith Independent Christian Academy Forms.

Re-Enrollment 
Faith Independent Christian Academy student members must enroll every year  with Faith Independent Christian Academy and be in compliance with the Homeschool Laws in the  state in which they are goverened and are advised to enroll no later than the start of the 1st  calendar school day  in their county of residence in the state they reside.

 

Students are required to be enrolled in Faith Independent Christian Academy if they want to recieve credit towards a Faith Independent Christian Academy HighSchool Diploma.

Returning students  are required to have all previous school year attendance and progress forms completed and any unpaid balances current before enrollment in the current school year of Faih Independent Christian Academy.

Return your Curriculum List form within 30 Days of enrollment into Faith Independent Christian Academy. Parent-Eduactors are required to follow their states laws regarding Homeschooling.
